Within walking distance of the hotel there are numerous attractions, including Mirabell Palace and Gardens (200 metres), Mozart's birthplace (800 metres) and the Salzburg Fortress (800 metres). The main train station is also only 200 metres away. For those guests wishing to venture to Salzburg's surroundings by car or via a tour operator, the city of Berchtesgaden (Bavaria), the Hallein salt mines and the ice caves of Werfen can be found within a 30-km radius.
