Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 20 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled up to 3 days before date of arrival, 50 percent of all nights will be charged. If cancelled or modified later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

Children and Extra bed

All children are welcome. All children under 7 years stay free of charge when using existing beds. All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots. All children from 8 to 12 years are charged EUR 15 per night per person for extra beds. All children from 12 to 16 years are charged EUR 20 per night per person for extra beds. All older children or adults are charged 100 % of the room stay per night per person for extra beds. Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 2.

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate.

Room information

The bedrooms are decorated in a traditional theme. The classic looking drapes and floral print further enhance the overall feel. Some of the rooms even have four-poster beds! Rooms differ slightly in style and all rooms vary in sizes. Hand crafted furnishings give each of them a touch of individuality.

Dear visitor, to make it easier to find your hotel, most of the hotels in the city of Salzburg are allocated to a hotel routing system, divided into 4 hotel zones /red, yellow, green, orange). Your hotel is located in the "orange" zone. Please take highway exit" Salzburg Mitte" and follow the orange hotel route until you reach your hotel. Second description: Highway A1 Exit Mitte/Center Leave the highway at the exit Middle/ City Centre. First follow the direction to the city centre, then keep going straight on until you reach a big bridge. After bridge, turn left at the first traffic light in the Haunsbergstrasse, then turn right at the fourth street. At the end of this street (Stauffenstrasse) you will find the Hotel HOHENSTAUFFEN on your right. Hightway A1 Exit Nord First drive to the centre, then take the direction Maria Plain/ Itzling. 200 metres straight on, turn right and at the next crossing, turn left. Take the Bahnhofsstrasse and continue straight ahead. After Hotel Renaissence, turn right and take the next street left. You are now in Elisabethstrasse. Go straight on and 150m after the traffic lights you will find the Hotel HOHENSTAUFFEN on your right. Highway A10 Exid Süd Follow the directions to the City centre, cross the Nonntaler bridge, turn left after the bridge, go straight on and drive past the National Theatre and Mozarteum (Schwarzstrasse). Continue straight on (Haunsbergstrasse). At the fourth street(traffic lights) before the company Gramiller, turn right into Stauffenstrasse.
